Claud Butler Urban 400 2008 - Product Review

The Claud Butler Urban 400 and Urban Model Range has been really popular both online and in store and we recently setup a demo version for the store

The Claud Butler Urban range was built with Speed, Comfort and Practically in mind while not loosing sight of a sporty looking bike. All the Urban Bikes feature a Lightweight Aluminium Frame, Lightweight 700c/28" Wheels matched to a Multi Surface Tyre, This makes them ideal for most peoples cycling applications mainly road but with light off-road on cycle tracks and designated and good surface bridleways/tow paths.

The Urban 400 features a Rockshox I-Ride Suspension Fork which actually has the shock absorber based in the top of the fork, This soft low level suspension takes nothing away from the ride while still offering a smooth comfortable ride over most types of Terrain. Matched to this you have a Adjustable Suspension Seat Pillar which is designed to smooth the bumps out on the rear.

The Quality of the Parts found on this Bike is outstanding at this price point with Above Suspension Fork,Shimano Deore Gearset - 27 Speed, Truvativ Chainset with Sealed Cartridge Bottom Bracket, Quality Weinmann Double Walled Rims and Maxxis Puncture Resistant Tyres, Truvativ Handlebar and Stem with a Comfort Sports Ritchey Saddle and Ergo Comfort Grips. The Full Length Mudguards are extra although these can be bought from our online store.

Both Customers and Members of Staff have been seriously impressed with the ride of the Claud Butler Urban 400, The Forks are both smooth when hitting the bumps yet unnoticeable when using on smoother surfaces and the eye for detail in terms of the Frame Design and Components used mean the ride is smooth and also durable.
